Tannenbaum Holiday Shop, Premier Gifts and Collectibles for All Seasons, was established in 1978 in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, in the midst of the beautiful Door County Peninsula. Within a couple of years, the business outgrew its front porch location and moved to an old stable set amongst the tin roof barn and log outbuildings of a century old farm site south of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, on Highway 57.

The little Door County Christmas shop grew and prospered in its small log home for twelve years until the little stable could no longer contain the ever expanding inventory and growing number of friends - friends who made visiting Tannenbaum a priority on their annual visits to Door County. In 1991 the 100-year old church was purchased. Over the course of the next year, the old white church with its prominent bell tower was transformed into the new Tannenbaum Holiday Shop.

On Labor Day weekend of 1992, the doors were opened to the newer and larger store, which has become a Door County destination for many visitors as well as the friends from the old-log stable days. In the years since we started Tannenbaum Holiday Shop has grown to include not just gifts for the Christmas season but gifts and collectibles for celebrations all year 'round. In addition, we have made major upgrades to our Tannenbaumn Holiday Shop Online store so you can find that special gift or holiday collectible year 'round, from the comfort of your own home.
